If you think postcards are lovely, just wait until you see Taormina from the sea!
From Giardini Naxos, you’ll experience one of the most enchanting views of the Sicilian coast. You’ll sail past spectacular caves and crystal-clear bays, admiring places such as Isola Bella and the Grotta Azzurra whilst enjoying an aperitif on board.
Get ready to dive into the adventure!
What we will do
Please arrive 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Giardini Naxos (ME).
The skipper will be waiting for us there and will accompany us on the trip, sharing interesting facts and stories about the Sicilian coast and the places we’ll be visiting.
Once we’ve boarded the boat, we’ll set sail along the bay. We’ll cruise past spectacular views and reach the enchanting Grotta dell’Amore, famous for its heart-shaped form.
We’ll continue towards Capo Taormina and the Grotta delle Sirene, sailing amongst cliffs and enchanting waters. We’ll then arrive at the bay of Isola Bella, one of Sicily’s most iconic spots, with its small islet connected to the beach by a sandbar visible at low tide.
Our next stop will be the Grotta Azzurra, renowned for the way the light reflects off the water, turning it a vivid, brilliant blue and allowing you to admire the seabed. We’ll then continue towards the Grotta del Corallo and the Scoglio dell’Elefante, recognisable by its distinctive shape.
Finally, we’ll stop in the bay of Isola Bella or Mazzarò for a break of around 20–30 minutes. Here, we’ll be able to take a dip in the waters off Taormina and relax whilst enjoying an aperitif ( included) of prosecco or almond wine, accompanied by almond biscuits and savoury snacks.
After the stop, we’ll head back by boat to the port of Giardini Naxos, enjoying the view once again.
The experience will last a total of 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
This experience is suitable for everyone, with no age restrictions. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The experience is not wheelchair accessible, but people with reduced mobility are welcome on board. Please let the organisers know if you have reduced mobility by using the contact details provided in your booking confirmation email.

The trip takes place from June to August.
The itinerary and stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions, at the captain’s discretion.
The vessel used is an open boat of approximately 10 metres, equipped with a spacious sun deck at the bow, cushions, a sun awning, an Igloo fridge, toilets, a stereo and a boarding ladder. You must remain barefoot on board.
No alternative options are available for the aperitif in the event of food allergies or intolerances.
Dogs are not permitted on board. Only small dogs may be brought on board in a suitable carrier.
There is a pay-and-display car park on site. The meeting point is accessible by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
