Have you ever pulled up an octopus with your own hands? An excursion awaits you in Stintino that mixes the charm of traditional fishing with the wild beauty of theisland of Asinara.
In the company of Silvia and Davide, you will enjoy an authentic experience of sea, smiles, and a lunch with the catch of the day. You will sail between Asinara's most beautiful coves, with stops for refreshing dips and a walk ashore.

What we will do
The appointment is 20 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Stintino (SS).
We will be welcomed by Silvia, Davide, and their crew, ready to take us aboard to begin an unforgettable day of fishing.
We will set sail towards the Gulf of Asinara to watch a demonstration of fishing with creels, traditional baskets that will be hoisted on board to show us octopus, crabs, scorpion fish, and other fish inside. We will be explained how small-scale artisanal fishing works, with the possibility of also seeing the gear being reeled in.
After fishing, we will start sailing along the coast ofAsinara Island, with a stop ashore for about an hour and a half at Cala Reale or Cala d'Oliva. Depending on the disembarkation point, we will have free time to explore the island, see the white donkeys, visit the sea turtle recovery centre or discover the former prison branch of Asinara.
During the day we will make 2 or 3 swimming stops in beautiful coves, to dive and relax in the clear waters, before or after enjoying our lunch prepared with the catch of the day: pasta with fish, octopus salad, local wine, Sardinian dessert, coffee and digestif.
We will conclude by returning to Stintino in the afternoon. The activity will last a total of 8 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone without age limits; minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible, but can accommodate persons with reduced mobility, subject to prior contact at the contact details given in the booking confirmation email to arrange boarding assistance.

The activity takes place from May to October and is confirmed with a minimum number of 4 participants.
The itinerary and stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions.
Theboat used is a 10-metre-long fibreglass fishing boat with an on-board bathroom, awning at the stern, sundeck at the bow and bathing ladder.
In the event of food allergies or intolerances, please inform the organisers in advance at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email.
Small dogs (max. 10 kg) are allowed on board, but are not allowed on the island during the stopover.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport. There are pay car parks in the streets of the village, approximately 500-600 metres from the embarkation point.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
