Boat tour to Positano and Amalfi with lunch

Breathe in and breathe out: if the air smells like lemon peel, you can't be anywhere but Sorrento! Hop aboard a boat and set off on a fabulous tour along the magnificent Amalfi coast.

During the day you can visit Positano and Amalfi and stop for a swim in the sea and some snorkelling near the most beautiful caves and bays, such as the Baia di Nerano and the Grotta dello Smeraldo.

You can also enjoy a delicious aperitif and lunch during the experience and toast to the enchanting landscape with a fragrant glass of limoncello!

What we will do

We will meet 30 minutes in advance at the meeting point in Sorrento (NA), where our skipper will be waiting for us. We will board the boat and sail along the coast, passing Marina Grande, Massa Lubrense and the so-called Cascatella, a natural waterfall gushing from the rock. We will then arrive at the Bay of Nerano, where we will stop for about 30 minutes to take a dip in the sea and refresh ourselves with an aperitif (included) based on prosecco, beer, soft drinks and snacks such as chips, taralli and peanuts.

Resuming navigation, we will approach Positano and admire the Cala di Crapolla, the island of Ischia and theisland of Li Galli. At the latter we will make another stop of about 30 minutes to do some snorkelling. At lunchtime we will dock at the port of Positano and have an hour and a half to explore the area. Back on board, we will be offered lunch (included), which will include alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and a caprese sandwich with mozzarella and tomato.

In the meantime, we will continue along the Amalfi Coast, passing by the Bay of Praiano, the Fjord of Furore and the Emerald Grotto, which we can visit for an extra charge on site if we wish. If we prefer to stay on the boat we will take advantage of the stop for another swim in the sea!

We will arrive in Amalfi in the early afternoon and have an hour and a half for a visit and some photos. Finally, we will re-board the boat and head back to Sorrento, stopping for about 30 minutes for a last swim at the Grotta del Pescatore. Before saying goodbye we will toast with a glass of limoncello (included) as we enjoy the last moments on the coast.

The experience, which will end with a return to the starting point, will last a total of 7½ hours.

Who it is aimed at

The experience is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Children up to 1 year old participate free of charge. Unaccompanied minors under the age of 18 may participate in the experience upon signing a waiver from a responsible adult.

The boat is not accessible to wheelchair users or those with walking difficulties.

Other information

The activity is available every day from March to mid-November and will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 5 participants.

The meeting point can be reached by public transport. Paying parking spaces are available nearby.

Depending on the number of participants and availability for the experience, one of the following boats will be used: Aprea 38, Fratelli Aprea 36, Shamal 40, Conam 46, Princess V50 and Atlantis 55. All have a minimum length of 11 metres and are equipped with an ascending ladder, awning, freshwater shower, towels, snorkelling kit, mini bar and ice. It is necessary to remain barefoot on board.

Depending on weather conditions, visits to Positano and Amalfi may be brought forward or postponed in the day's programme. The price does not include the €5 disembarkation tax in Positano and Amalfi (not included and compulsory), which will be payable locally.

During the experience you will be offered an aperitif (included) based on prosecco, beer, soft drinks, chips, taralli and peanuts, a lunch (included) based on panino caprese (tomato and mozzarella) and alcoholic and soft drinks, and a glass of limoncello (included).
