You know that Instagram filter that makes water look incredibly blue? You won't need it here!
This 2-hour boat tour departing from Castro will take you to enchanting views and famous caves, including Grotta Zinzulusa and Grotta Romanelli. The skipper will tell you the history of the place and you can stop at Porto Miggiano and Santa Cesarea Terme for a dip in the wonderful waters.

What we will do
The appointment is 30 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Castro Marina (LE) . Here we will meet the skipper who will accompany us on the excursion and, once we have taken our places on board, we will begin this adventure along one of the most evocative stretches of the Salento peninsula.
We will sail into the bay to take a closer look at the spectacular Grotta Palombara and Grotta Rotundella, both of which have been carved out of the limestone rock over millennia. We will then head to Grotta Azzurra, where the water takes on blue or green tones, depending on the amount of light filtering through the opening, and Grotta Zinzulusa, to observe the characteristic formations hanging from the ceiling.
We will continue the tour by stopping at Grotta Romanelli, a site of incredible archaeological value, and Grotta delle Striare, whose appearance is shrouded in legend. We will then arrive at Baia di Porto Miggiano, one of the most fascinating inlets in the Salento, where we will stop for about 15 minutes to take a dip in the sea. Shortly after, we will make another stop in Santa Cesarea Terme and stop to admire Villa Sticchi, the symbol of the town.
We will then return to the port of departure, relaxing on board the boat and enjoying the magnificent landscape that surrounds us!
The activity will last a total of 2 hours.

The activity is suitable for everyone without age limits; children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The boat is accessible to wheelchair users and persons with reduced mobility. Please contact the organisers at the contact details on your booking confirmation email to notify them.

The activity takes place from April to September and is confirmed with a minimum number of 2 participants.
The itinerary and stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions and at the skipper's discretion to ensure maximum safety.
The boat used is a motorboat, equipped with a sun canopy, freshwater shower, climbing ladder, comfortable seating, stereo and safety equipment. It is not necessary to remain barefoot on board.
Small dogs are allowed.
On-site parking spaces are available for a fee; it is also possible to reserve a private parking space with shuttle service by contacting the organisers after confirmation. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
