Did you see them too? Yes, dolphins indeed!
You can try spotting them by taking part in our boat excursion from Giardini Naxos: a skipper will accompany you to discover the main attractions of the Taormina coastline, and then venture out to sea in search of these cute cetaceans.
A2-hour experience, ending with an aperitif at sunset.
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Giardini Naxos (ME). We will be welcomed by members of the organisation who, after an initial welcome, will accompany us to the nearby boarding point.
Once on board, we will set sail in the direction of Messina. We will sail along the coast of Taormina, sighting the main attractions such as the Grotta dell'Amore, Capo Taormina and the Scoglio del Fico d'India. We will then reachIsola Bella, a beautiful natural setting that will be the backdrop to our 20-minute bathing stop.
We will continue on to the Grotta Azzurra, which we will access by boat. We will then sail back out to sea, venturing out in search of the dolphins that inhabit these waters! While on board, a sunset aperitif (included) will be served with assorted snacks including arancini and almond pastries accompanied by a glass of prosecco or a soft drink.
We will then return to the meeting point. The experience will last a total of 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone without age limits; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Children aged 0 to 2 years participate free of charge in their parents' arms: please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to indicate their presence on board.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible; people with reduced mobility should contact the organiser at the contact details given in the booking confirmation email to request boarding support.

Warning.Dolphin sightings are not guaranteed as they swim in the wild.

There is paid parking in the vicinity of the meeting point. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport; please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to request a collective taxi service to be paid for on site.
Theboat is an 8-metre-long motor boat equipped with an awning, shower and climbing ladder; there is no toilet on board. The organiser's fleet consists of several boats, used according to availability. On board the boat one wears clean slippers or remains barefoot. Dogs are allowed on board the boat if you contact the organiser in advance at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to indicate their presence. Prams and/or highchairs are not allowed on board the boat.
