Full description
Behind every essential oil lies a plant, a bloom and a specific time of year. On this experience in the province of Ascoli Piceno, you’ll discover the work of a farm specialising in the cultivation of medicinal herbs!
Accompanied by a guide, you’ll take part in a botanical walk through the fields and an outdoor workshop dedicated to essential oils.
In just two hours, you’ll get to know the plants, their scents and the characteristics of their extracts up close!
What we will do
We will meet at the selected time at the meeting point in Spinetoli (AP). We will be welcomed by the guide, who will introduce us to the farm and tell us about its activities.
We will then head out into the fields for a botanical walk lasting about an hour. Along the way, we will hear detailed explanations about the cultivated plants, the conditions in which they thrive and the different stages of their flowering.
Once the walk is over, the essential oils workshop will begin, taking place outdoors. The guide will introduce us to the essential oils extracted from the plants grown on the farm and explain their aromatic, olfactory and therapeutic properties.
We will also be able to experience the fragrances by applying them directly to our hands or onto special strips of paper.
The experience will conclude at the end of the workshop.
The activity will last a total of 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
This experience is suitable for children aged 4 and over. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
This experience is not accessible to people in wheelchairs or with pushchairs.

The programme runs from April to June and is confirmed once a minimum of four participants has been reached.
Dogs are not permitted.
Free parking is available. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
