"Farmers before brewers. " And indeed, you have never had beer like this.
At the Birrificio Agricolo Serrocroce, in Monteverde in Irpinia, you will discover what it means to make beer 'from the earth to the glass'. Between hop and cereal fields and a guided tour of the brewery, you will immerse yourself in the artisanal world of an Oscar Green award-winning farm.
An experience that will end with a tasting of 3 beers accompanied by typical local snacks !
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before 11 a. m. at the Serrocroce Agricultural Brewery in Monteverde (AV), in the heart of Irpinia. We will be welcomed by our guide, as well as agronomist and master brewer, ready to take us into the world of 'peasant beer'.
We will begin our visit among the hop gardens and cereal fields, to observe closely where the raw materials grow and listen to the story of the organic cultivation techniques that make each beer unique.
We will then move inside the farm brewery: here we will discover the production process, from the brewing of the malts to the maturation in the tanks, to the cellar where the beers are stored and refined.
The tour will end in the tasting room, adjacent to the brewery, where we will taste three locally produced craft beers together with a sampling of typical Irpinian products: cold meats, cheeses, taralli and even beer jelly!
The experience will last about 1. 5 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is recommended for 18 years and over.
Beer tasting is reserved for adults only. Minors up to the age of 4 participate free of charge, those up to the age of 12 at a reduced rate, and from the age of 13 and up full price.
Other information
The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed with a minimum of 8 participants. For groups of at least 8 people, it is possible to organise the visit on other days on request.

Dogs are not allowed during the experience.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
