Full description

Give your children a unique bushcraft experience. The instructor will teach them basic survival techniques in the Orecchiella Park, inside a safe area protected by a fence.

You will thus be able to treat them to a day that is different from their usual daily routine, during which nature will be the real protagonist thanks to a series of didactic activities conceived in a fun and friendly manner.

The instructor will teach the children how to find their bearings in the sunlight, how to obtain food and water in times of emergency and how to build a shelter. Team games and activities such as making a compass on the ground are planned. At mid-day, the children will all eat pasta with tomato sauce and roast with potatoes.

What we will do

We will meet at 9 a.m. in Villa Collemandina, in the province of Lucca. After the introductions, we will start our exciting day all together to learn how to survive in a forest with only a few useful tools.

The children will experience a different situation from normal. They will leave their digital tools at home and for a day they will be outdoors in direct contact with nature and will try their hand at a series of engaging and new activities, which will make them discover a world different from their daily routine.

The whole day will take place in a safe, enclosed area, where the children will be able to move around in complete freedom and peace. We will learn the basic techniques for lighting a fire and building a shelter, and we will discover how to collect water and food in emergency situations. In other words, we will do a series of educational activities all together, also in the name of fun and knowledge and respect for nature.

We will also tackle very useful notions concerning orientation. That is, we will learn how to use sunlight to find our way back and we will create a compass on the ground. And then we will play team games and knot activities and have fun all together. There will also be a mid-day lunch of pasta with tomato sauce and roast with potatoes (included in the fee), designed as an additional time for the children to be in the company of new friends.

The experience ends at 6 p.m., for a total duration of about 9 hours.
