Survival course for children in a natural park near Lucca

Little adventurers are born (and grow up)!

Your children will love spending a day full of adventures in nature: the nature park staff and the survival instructor are waiting for them to meet the friendly animals in the park, teach them the main survival techniques and watch a magic show.

All within a safe and enclosed environment, for the enjoyment of young and old alike.

What we will do

The appointment is 15 minutes before 10 a.m. at the meeting point in San Martino in Freddana di Monsagrati (LU). We will be welcomed by the staff of the nature park, who will animate the day.

The experience will begin with a visit to the nature park, which will take the children to meet the animals that live there: they will enter the enclosure and will be able to interact with them by stroking them or feeding them. Bunnies, baby goats, ponies and llamas are just some of the specimens they will make friends with! This first moment will last about one hour.

The next activity will be the survival course, held by a certified instructor: here the children will learn how to orient themselves, make knots, light fires safely and other techniques useful in emergency situations. This second moment will last about one and a half hours.

To recharge energy, a packed lunch (included) will then be served, which includes a pizza or focaccia stuffed with cold cuts, accompanied by water. The survival course will then continue, with the teaching of new techniques such as building a shelter and finding food and water; this is anactivity that is as playful as it is educational, proposed through team games. This third moment will last about one and a half hours.

To conclude, a magic and puppet show held by the nature park staff will take place. This will be an opportunity to relax and relax for 30 minutes, for the young participants who have spent a day full of adventures in nature.

The experience will last a total of 7 hours and will end at around 5 p.m.

Who it is aimed at

The experience is reserved for children from 6 to 13 years of age. Children will be in the care of the nature park staff and the survival instructor; the activity will take place in a safe and confined environment.

Any accompanying persons may enter the nature park by paying the entrance fee of €10.00 per person on site and remain in the dedicated relaxation area.

Other information

The experience takes place on the dates indicated on the calendar (generally in June, July and August; calendar continually being updated) and is confirmed when the minimum number of 4 participants is reached.

There is free parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

Any accompanying persons may enter the nature park by paying an entrance fee of €10.00 per person on site and remain in the dedicated relaxation area equipped with a refreshment point and toilet facilities.
