Full description
Experience close contact with nature, forget about technology and the comforts of everyday life for a day and learn to cope with what the environment has to offer.
Together with experienced instructors you will learn basic bushcraft and survival techniques such as how to build a shelter, how to start a fire,orientation and much more.
Put yourself to the test with anactivity that is fun and different from the usual, but also useful for acquiring skills you can use in an emergency.
What we will do
The appointment is at the indicated meeting point in Contigliano (RI). We will meet the guides 15 minutes before 9:30 a.m. and, once the group is formed, we will move together to the activity venue, about 10 minutes' drive away.
Once there, there will be an introductory briefing on the day's activities. We will practise basic bushcraft and survival techniques, starting from orientation with map and compass to building an emergency shelter and lighting a fire using rudimentary methods.
Guided step by step, we will learn how to read nature's signals and make the best use of the resources offered by the environment around us, developing new skills of adaptation and survival. Our guides will also teach us how to prepare the perfect hiking kit, designed to deal with any unforeseen situation.
The day will not only be an educational experience, but an opportunity to explore an unspoilt area at the foot of the Sabine Mountains, rediscovering the authentic connection with the natural environment.
In all, the activity will last about 6 hours.

This activity is at an easy level and is open to everyone from 10 years old and up. No specific skills or experience are required, just a spirit of adventure and a desire to have fun in nature.
