With this canoe tour along the coast of Santa Maria di Leuca you can visit the most famous caves in the area, discover the legends that explain their origin and snorkel in wonderful waters!
A guide will always be by your side and will capture the best moments of the experience by taking photos!
What we will do
We will meet at the meeting point in Marina di Felloniche (LE), where our guide will be waiting for us.
After an initial welcome, we will have a briefing during which we will learn the techniques for paddling correctly and we will be given our equipment (life jackets, waterproof bag and paddle) . We will then be ready to jump aboard the canoe, whether two-seater or single, and set off on our adventure!
We will follow the guide to discover the most beautiful caves on the Santa Maria di Leuca coast, including the Grotta del Drago and the Grotta degli Innamorati. In the latter, we will swim in or lie down in a canoe, until we reach a small inland beach, where we will stop to listen to the legend of its birth.
We will then move about 400 metres to the Grotto of the Stable, the Grotto of the Nativity, the Grotto of the Giants, the Grotto of the Three Gates and, finally, the Grotto of the River. In front of the latter, we will make a snorkelling stop, also taking the opportunity to take some souvenir photos.
Finally, we will get back into the canoe and paddle back to the starting point, satisfied and happy with the experience.
The activity will last about three hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from 5 years of age. Children aged 5 to 10 pay a reduced rate ('Children' rate in the booking box) and can only participate by sitting on the canoe between two adults. A minimum age of 11 is required to paddle. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Pregnant persons may not participate. The maximum weight allowed is 200 kg per person. It is not necessary to know how to swim.
Other information
The activity is available from April to mid-October and will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 2 participants.
Attention. If you are entitled to one of the following discounts, please contact us to make your reservation:
- Family of 4 (2 parents and 2 children) or more: children pay a reduced price according to age. From 5 to 10 years old, each child pays 15 euros, and from 11 to 18 years old, each child pays 30 euros.
- Group of at least 10 people: you pay 45 euros per person.
Photos will be taken during the tour and sent to participants on WhatsApp.
At the meeting point there is a storage room for valuables, a bathroom (where you can change) and a shower. In addition, each participant will be provided with a waterproof bag to carry small items from which they cannot separate themselves.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
