Have you ever done a floating wine tasting?
Get ready for an unusual experience, where the glass meets the paddle and Lake Garda provides the setting for a very special toast.
In Peschiera del Garda a 2-hour canoe tour through the canals and city walls awaits you, with a tasting of local wines directly on the water, in the company of a guide and an oenologist. Cheers!
What we will do
We will meet 5 minutes before the indicated time in Peschiera del Garda (VR).
Our guide will welcome us with our equipment ready: life jacket, paddle, 5-litre waterproof bag and, of course, our canoes. After a 10-15 minute briefing to learn how to paddle safely, we will embark and begin to get acquainted with the water.
We will then begin an approximately 3-km tour through the canals of Peschiera, paddling in the shadow of the ancient Venetian walls. After a first part of navigation, we will arrive at one of the historic gates of the walled city, where a very special toast awaits us.
Without getting out of the canoe, we will taste two local wines such as Chiaretto, Bardolino, Soave, Custoza or Lugana, accompanied by snacks such as chips and taralli. Theoenologist who will be with us will give us interesting information about the area and the wines we will be tasting.
Once we have returned our glasses, we will complete the tour with the second part of the route, paddling back to the meeting point among canals and panoramic views.
The activity will last a total of 2 hours, of which about 1.5 hours will be spent in the water.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable from the age of 8; minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Swimming skills are required. The maximum weight per participant is 110 kg.
Other information
The activity takes place from May to October and is confirmed with a minimum of 4 participants.
Double or triple canoes are available, with a maximum total of 10 places.
There are no changing rooms, showers or storage for personal belongings at the meeting point.
In the event of food allergies or intolerances, please inform the guide at the contact details you will receive in your booking confirmation e-mail. Juices and biscuits are provided for children instead of wine tasting.
It is not possible to participate with your dog.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport; paid parking spaces are available on site.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
