Full description
Canyoning at the Forra di Riancoli, between Lazio and Abruzzo, is your chance to experience a fun-filled day.
Between jumps, rope descents and natural slides, you will discover an evocative place, characterised by waterfalls and lush, wild nature. Thanks to expert guides you will get to know the beauty of the Turano Valley.
This is an easy, fun and aquatic route that will give you the opportunity to experience all the most exciting aspects of canyoning, including rope descents along rock walls, water dives and ziplines. Don't waste any more time then and book your place now!
What we will do
The meeting with the guides is at 9.30 a.m. in Carsoli (AQ). From here we will move with our car to reach the excursion starting point in Collalto Sabino, 10 minutes away. Once there, the guides will provide us with all thenecessary equipment for the activity (included).
We will then set off on a 30-minute trek to reach the stream. When we are close to the stream, we will have a comprehensive briefing about the activity. Afterwards, we will venture in the company of the guides along the Riancoli Gorge.
We will explore an area surrounded by colourful and lush nature. We will abseil along rocky walls with the aid of a rope, ford a torrent, ride toboggans and slide on ziplines, experiencing the thrill of being suspended in the void, as if we were flying.
ENGC Canyoning guides will teach us the rudiments of this discipline, enabling us to move around in total safety. Return is scheduled for around 15:30, for a total duration of the experience of approximately 6 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone over the age of 14. No previous experience is required, just the ability to swim.

The activity can be booked from April to July on the dates indicated in the calendar (continually updated) and will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 5 participants.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
