An adventure dedicated to canyoning enthusiasts and anyone wishing to experience strong emotions in close contact with nature.
The Chalamy torrent, located near the Mont Avic Natural Park in Valle d'Aosta, is famous among canyoning enthusiasts because it guarantees fun, adrenaline, a variety of progressions and unspoilt natural views.
Along the route you will face abseiling on waterfall walls, dive into pools of crystal-clear water, let yourself be carried away by the current on natural slides carved into the rock.
In short, a natural water-park that will amaze novices and will not disappoint the more experienced!
What we will do
We will meet in Champdepraz (AO) and after the necessary introductions we will move by shuttle to a point in the vicinity of the canyon. Wearing wetsuits and allnecessary equipment, we will conduct a briefing on safety rules and progression techniques.
After reaching the Chalamy torrent with a walk of a few minutes, off to adventure! We will walk in the canyon bed among boulders, rocks and spectacular river landscapes. We will abseil by rope following the course of the waterfalls along the walls, dive into pools of cool, crystal-clear water and let ourselves go on toboggans, the natural slides carved by the perpetual flow of the current.
The heights of the obstacles will be varied to suit everyone's needs: from 1 to 10 m for the jumps, from 2 to 12 m for the slides and from 5 to 22 m for the walls.
We will always be followed and assisted by guides and none of the obstacles will be mandatory. Those who prefer will be able to avoid dives, jumps and rappels by taking easier routes... but much less fun! The advice is to let yourself go, to challenge your limits and experience the adventure to its fullest potential, while remaining safe at all times.
The activity lasts a total of 3.5 hours, 2.5 of which will be spent completing the canyoning route. At the end of the excursion we will return to the cars, change, dry off and end the experience on a high note by going to eat together in one of the local trattorias.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an intermediate level, suitable for both beginners and those who have already been canyoning, with a minimum age of 12 years and a maximum weight of 115 kg.
It is not necessary to have previous experience or to be an expert swimmer, you just need to have good aquatics skills.

Attention! Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time of the activity.
This activity takes place in June, July, August and September with morning and afternoon departures.
In addition to the necessary equipment, the organisation will provide an underwater camera and some helmets with GoPro attachments free of charge. Photos will be sent at no extra cost.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
