Full description
An adventure in the Friulian Dolomites awaits you! Canyoning in the Forra del Ciafurle will take you along a fascinating route between natural slides, crystal-clear pools and rope descents.
Thanks to the presence of a UIAGM Alpine Guide, it will be a perfect experience for those wishing to approach the world of canyoning, and is also suitable for families.
This 2-hour route will begin and end in the heart of the village of Claut. Get ready to discover a wild and fascinating environment, among rock walls polished by water and the sound of the Chiadiola torrent accompanying your every step.
What we will do
We will meet in Claut (PN) at 10:00 a.m., where we will meet our guide and receive the necessary equipment. After a safety briefing, we will set off on an approximately 15-minute walk to the canyon entrance.
Once equipped, we will begin our descent down the Forra del Ciafurle, following the course of the Chiadiola stream. We will tackle a 600-metre route with a 100-metre difference in altitude, characterised by several toboggans (natural slides) and suggestive waterfalls.
Along the way, we will encounter small dives and a rope descent of a maximum of 18 metres, which we can tackle with the help of the guide. The dives will always be optional: those who prefer can be safely lowered with a harness. It will be a very enjoyable route, ideal for a first canyoning experience or for families with children.
Between water games and suggestive passages, we will then reach the end of the canyon. From here, with a 5-minute walk, we will return to our cars.
The total duration of the activity, including transfers and briefing, will be 2 hours.
