Come and discover the surprises of the Aventino river and dive - literally - into afun and adrenalin-pumping adventure among the waterfalls of this watercourse in the Majella National Park.
The canyoning route we propose is really special because it passes through the centre of the village of Palena, creating suggestive views and offering real aquapark attractions: water jumps, dives from bridges, deep gorges, rock slides and much more... all natural!
You'll be accompanied by expert guides to have fun in total safety and without worries. What are you waiting for to join us?
What we will do
We will meet in Piazza Municipio in Palena (CH), where we will register at the guides' office and receive ourcanyoning equipment (wetsuit, helmet and life jacket). We will have an introductory briefing on the activity and safety rules, then we will set off until we reach the Aventino springs.
We will find ourselves in an enchanting and timeless natural environment , we will be immersed in the sounds of nature and we will be able to spot the animals that live in the park. The canyoning route starts right here. We will follow the waters of theAventine River as we walk along theriverbed, overcoming rocks and natural obstacles.
The most fun and adrenaline-pumping part will be when we reach the town of Palena, where the river settles forming waterfalls and water jumps. We will encounter natural slides and rock trampolines from which to dive. Not to be missed is the dive from the bridge, which is the true climax of the experience.
In total, the activity will last about three hours, of which two hours will be needed to complete the route.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level and is open to participants from 12 to 65 years of age. No previous experience is required, only good physical condition and good aquatic skills.

This activity is available from June to September and is confirmed when there are at least 4 participants.
