Experience the thrill of anadventure between water and rock following the course of the Torno torrent in the Cilento, Vallo di Diano and Alburni National Park. Explore natural places that are normally inaccessible thanks to an amazing canyoning route.
An expert guide will let you experience the thrill of verticality. Natural slides, plunges into crystal-clear pools, and abseiling along rock walls are just some of the ingredients that will make this canyoning excursion truly unique.
The route will alternate between progressions in a river environment and stretches of trekking in an enchanting setting a couple of hours from Salerno.
What we will do
We will meet at 9 a.m. in Postiglione, in the province of Salerno, two minutes from the Contursi-Postiglione motorway exit. After meeting the guides and the rest of the group, we will have a briefing on progression techniques and the safety rules to be followed during the canyoning route. We will be given thenecessary equipment, rehearse with the equipment, and after that, we will move by minibus to the starting point of the excursion, about an hour's drive away.
Arriving near the Vallone Torno, the experience will begin with a stretch of walking in the wilderness of the Cilento, Vallo di Diano and Alburni Park. Once on the torrent, the actual canyoning route will begin: a succession of winding bends created by the incessant work of the water between the rocks. We will abseil down the walls, dive from rocky outcrops, swim across some stretches, let ourselves be carried away by the water on natural slides and feel the rush of the current in the rapids and waterfalls.
The route is about 5 km long with a descent height difference of about 200 metres. At the exit from the canyon we will find the minibus that will take us back to the meeting point. The activity lasts 5 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an intermediate level. No canyoning experience is necessary but you must be able to swim at least 50 metres and not suffer from vertigo. The minimum age for participation is 14.

Attention! Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time.
The activity takes place from March to September and is confirmed when there are at least 4 participants.
The centre is equipped with changing rooms and an outdoor shower.
Accompanying persons are welcome: a shaded picnic area with barbecue is provided for them (free use for activity participants, paid use for accompanying persons.
