First canyoning experience? You have found the right route for you: the Fossa della Mola Perduta near Rieti!
In the company of a guide who will provide you with constant support, you will tackle water corridors, toboggans and abseiling on a route between rock walls and waterfalls.
A simple itinerary for a first approach to this new water discipline. A total experience of 2½ hours that we are sure will be just the beginning of your love affair with canyoning!
What we will do
I will be waiting for you at 10 a.m. at the meeting point in Grotti (RI). On your arrival I will be there to welcome you, your guide in this canyoning experience!
I will hand you yourequipment and, once you have it on, we will set off towards the starting point, which we will reach in 15 minutes on foot via a short climb. After a briefing on progression techniques and safety rules, we will finally be ready to venture into the Fosso della Mola Perduta, a rocky canyon carved out by the water of a stream in the Salto Valley.
Rocky walls, gushing waterfalls and wild vegetation will frame our venture. We will walk along water corridors, tackle rope abseils (the highest of which is 20 metres!) and slide down toboggans. I will carry out the activity together with you, providing you with all the necessary support along this route, which is especially designed for your first canyoning experience!
We will finally return to the meeting point after spending 2 hours in the water for a total experience of 2½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from the age of 11.
No previous experience is required to participate.
Other information
The experience is available from April to October , depending on the hydrometric conditions of the stream.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
