Jumanji Canyoning in the Turano Valley

Enter a wild and primordial environment and discover the unspoilt nature of the Turano Valley, between Lazio and Abruzzo, in an area still little known to mass tourism and, for this reason, full of surprises!

With this canyoning experience, you will feel like the protagonist of an adventure film. You will walk along the course of a torrent among rocky gorges, cliffs and impervious stretches. You will have to overcome natural obstacles and abseil down walls up to 30 metres high!

The "Jumanji" trail has recently been discovered, is a novelty among canyoning enthusiasts and you can be one of the first to walk it. What are you waiting for?

What we will do

We will meet the guide and the rest of the group at 9.30 a.m. in Carsoli (AQ). After an introductory briefing and the handover of the neoprene wetsuit and technical equipment (helmet, ropes and harnesses), we will set off for the starting point of the route in Collalto Sabino.

Jumanji" canyoning takes place near Lake Turano, at the foot of Mount Navegna, in a nature reserve covered by thick forests and wild vegetation. The torrents that flow through it will be the setting for our adventure.

We will walk in the streams, abseiling down the steep walls, climbing and jumping from one rock to another. On the way we will encounter waterfalls, pools of water and rocky gorges to cross like real explorers of unknown places.

In total, the activity will last about four hours and will end with a return to the starting point.

Who it is aimed at

This activity is at an easy level and is also open to beginners and novices, aged 14 and up.

Other information

This activity can be carried out from April to October, subject to weather and hydrometric conditions, and is confirmed when there are at least 6 participants.
