Who turned out the light?
You don't need to see the light to experience a rush of pure adrenalin. Night canyoning on the Froda torrent is the stuff of fearless hearts: slides and rope descents to be tackled under the stars, guided only by the glow of torches and the voice of the guide.
For three hours you will be inside an adventure that mixes nature, silence and vertigo. One thing is certain: after this, your evenings will never be the same!
What we will do
The appointment is 30 minutes before 21:00 at the meeting point in Porto Valtravaglia (VA). Awaiting us will be the guide, ready to begin the activity with a briefing on basic progression techniques and to hand over theequipment.
Once ready, we will set off on foot towards the Froda stream. The light of burning headlamps and the sounds of the forest will accompany us to the entrance of the canyon: thenight setting will make the moment even more impressive!
We will tackle a route of around 700 metres in length, with a difference in altitude of 100 metres, in a varied but not too technical environment. More closed and vertical sections will alternate with more open moments, which we will always tackle in the company of our guide.
During the route, natural slides and rope descents will await us, ending in pools of water in which the moon will be reflected. If we are lucky, we will even be able to see the lights of Lake Maggiore in the distance, framed by a surreal silence.
Once the walk is over, a short path through the forest will take us back to the starting point. The total duration of the activity is about 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for ages 8 and up. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult; alternatively, it is possible to participate with a release form signed by the parent.
Good aquatic skills are required to participate in the activity.
The route is of an easy level and suitable for a first canyoning experience.
Other information
The activity takes place from May to September and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
The duration of the activity may vary depending on the number and experience level of the participants.
The use of eyeglasses is not recommended during the activity, so contact lenses are recommended if necessary.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
There are no changing rooms on site. We recommend arriving with your swimming costume already on. Personal items may be left in the car.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
