Full description

Canyoning in Val Noana is an experience full of excitement and adventure that will bring out all your desire to explore unseen places.

Here, water erosion has created a canyon reminiscent of a natural aquaparkfor the succession of slides, pools, jumps, dives and rappels that will give you an adrenalin rush.

This 2.5-hour route is perfect for those who want to immerse themselves in the beauty of nature in the Vette Feltrine, the southernmost mountain group of the Dolomites.

What we will do

The meeting point is Mezzano, in the province of Trento. As a guide, I will welcome you with all the necessary equipment for canyoning and, before we set off, I will give a briefing to explain how to put on the harness and explain the safety rules.

Once dressed, we will walk for about ten minutes to reach themouth of the canyon. The landscape that will open up before our eyes will be truly spectacular, among rock walls eroded by the force of the water.

The canyon will alternate between descents down natural slides, dives, jumps into pools of water that are never too deep, and rope descents no higher than 4 metres. The jumps, which are never compulsory, will have a maximum height of 7 metres, with the possibility of being abseiled for those who do not feel like diving.

The route will end above the Val Noana Lake. To exit the canyon, we will have two options: the first, the more adventurous one, will add a good dose of adrenalin to the activity as it involves a fixed-rope route; the second is instead a peaceful route on two panoramic walkways that will also allow you to observe the canyon from above.

The walk back to the meeting point takes 10 minutes. The activity lasts a total of two and a half hours.
