Full description

At Collegiove immerse yourself in the Monte Navegna and Monte Cervia Nature Reserve to discover canyoning, an exciting and adrenalin-pumping discipline that will free your spirit of adventure!

Explore the canyon carved out by the Riancoli stream and enter a natural water park of rocks, water and lush vegetation.

Have fun sliding over rocks, rappelling alongside waterfalls, flying on ziplines to tackle drops and swimming in crystal clear and... very fresh!

What we will do

We will meet at 9 a.m. in Collalto Sabino, in the province of Rieti. We will conduct an initial briefing and hand over the equipment. We will then drive to the starting point of the hike (it will only take a few minutes). Before reaching the canyon we will walk for about 20-25 minutes through an oak forest.

Once we reach the entrance, we will have a second briefing on how to use the equipment and safety rules, and we will proceed with the full canyoning outfit.

Our canyoning will begin with a descent, at the end of which we will find ourselves on the stream bed. The next attraction will be a fun toboggan, a natural slide on the rock carved by the flow of the Riancoli stream.

After a stretch of walking through the water, we will reach the highest and most adrenalin-pumping jump we will encounter in our experience: we will be able to tackle it by launching ourselves down a zip line screaming with joy. Time to recover and here is a new abseil of about 3 metres near a waterfall; a short but exciting abseil accompanied by the sound of the water jet.

Then a small dive and a swimming stretch await us, leading us to the stretch of canyon with the highest walls. From here we can abseil and dive from walls up to 5 metres high. We will reach another short zipline and the final attraction: a toboggan that will lead us to a pool of crystal-clear water where we will take onelast swim.

We will exit the canyon and in about five minutes of walking we will reach the point where we will have left our cars, where we can dry off and change.

The experience has a total duration of about 5 hours, including briefings and transfers; it will therefore end around 14:00 hours. The water course has a total length of about 1 km.
