Full description
Embark on an exciting canyoning experience at Fosso della Mola, in the province of Rieti and a short distance from Rome.
You will explore the Valle del Salto in an original way, characterised by lush and lively nature and crossed by a small stream carved into the rock.
You will see small waterfalls, face abseiling, dive into the water and walk along a truly suggestive underground path. This gorge will surprise you at every step!
What we will do
The appointment is at 9. 30 a. m. in Fara in Sabina, in the province of Rieti. We will be welcomed by the guides and we will travel by car along a stretch of road for 25 minutes. We will then be given the technical material in order to tackle the activity safely.
Once we are ready, we will trek for about half an hour to reach the stream where the actual activity will begin. Once there, we will put on our wetsuits and equipment and have a short briefing in which the basic techniques of the discipline will be explained to us.
We will then venture along the Fosso della Mola route. We will perform a series of rope descents (maximum height 12 m) , take small dives into the stream and have fun on the natural slides, the toboggans.
We will pass through a unique underground landscape of waterfalls plunging into natural pools and lush vegetation characterised by ferns and moss. The approximately 4-hour walk will end with a return to the starting point of about 5 minutes on foot.
The return is scheduled for 3 p. m. , for a total of five and a half hours of activity.
Who it is aimed at
The minimum age to participate is 14.
The activity is of medium difficulty, so it is suitable for those who already have some experience or those who really want to get to grips with this discipline.
Other information
The activity is available from April to July on the dates indicated in the calendar (continually updated) and will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 7 participants.
There are no changing rooms or storage facilities on site.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

- Cycling shorts or fuseaux in technical fabric
- Technical shirt or light fleece to put under the wetsuit
- Wet sneakers or light hiking shoes

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
