Canyoning in the Rio Barbaira in Liguria

They say it is the most beautiful canyoning in Liguria and those who have tried it can confirm this.

Try it for yourself: participate in our excursion near Rocchetta Nervina. Meet the guide, put on your technical clothing and enjoy yourself among slides, toboggans and rope descents from a maximum height of 12 m. A vertical course in a clear-water torrent, into which you'll be eager to dive.

The torrent experience lasts 3 hours. But the adrenaline in your body will remain when you tell your friends about this adventure!

What we will do

I will be waiting for you at 10 a .m. at the meeting point communicated at the time of booking, in Rocchetta Nervina (IM). Once on site, I will provide you with thenecessary equipment, give you information on the characteristics of the canyon, and the behaviour to adopt during the activity.

In a swimming costume or shorts and carrying the equipment, we will then enter the forest to reach the scenery of our canyoning excursion after about 40 minutes on foot . We are talking about a torrent characterised by clear water and crystal-clear pools into which it will be a pleasure to dive!

Once you've donned your technical clothing, the fun will begin: along the route, which is purely vertical, there are numerous slides and toboggans from which to plunge. And again, numerous rope descents from amaximum height of 12 m to make sure you don't miss a thing!

The torrent experience will last 3 hours. At the end we will walk back to the meeting point in 10 minutes for a total of 4 hours.

Who it is aimed at

The experience is suitable for everyone from the age of 12. It is not necessary to know how to swim (life jacket on request) or to have previous experience; good health (no heart and/or respiratory diseases) is sufficient.

This experience requires physical commitment: if you are over 65 years of age , please contact the activity organiser at the contact details given in your booking email to check that you can do the activity.

Other information

Attention! Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the departure time.

The experience is available from April to November and is confirmed with a minimum of 7 participants. If you are alone or do not reach the minimum number, please contact us privately to find out which dates have already been confirmed.

Please note that rings cannot be worn during the activity. If you wear glasses you will have to tie them with a string; it is preferable to wear contact lenses.

Itis not permitted to wear rock shoes or rock climbing shoes. Hiking, running or classic trainers are permitted. Alternatively, you can hire suitable shoes on site at a cost of €10.
