Get ready to dive into the wild heart of Liguria! Canyoning in the Rio Lerca, near Genoa, will give you strong emotions in a unique natural environment.
With an expert guide at your side, you will glide through the transparent waters of the canyon, facing 6-metre plunges , natural slides and rope descents.
In 6 hours of activity, including about 3 and a half hours of canyoning, you will explore an unspoilt route in the Beigua Park, just a few steps from the Genoa coastline. Discover your wild side!
What we will do
We will meet at 9:00 a.m. in the hamlet of Case Soprane in Arenzano (GE), where our guide will welcome us and begin with the distribution ofequipment. The approach to the canyon will take about 45 minutes, of which 25 minutes uphill, and will allow us to immerse ourselves in the views that surround us as we head towards the stream.
Once we arrive at the start of the route, we will spend about 20 minutes on the safety briefing and dressing up. We will then begin our descent into the canyon, in a sun-kissed section carved into the green-striped rock typical of the Serpentines of Beigua Park.
We will explore this wild corner of paradise by tackling small slides, a fun toboggan , and some rope descents, the highest of which is about 10 metres. There will also be dives from different heights (never compulsory), the highest of which is about 6 metres.
At the end of the descent, which will take about 3½ hours, we will return to the starting point by covering a flat stretch of about 10 minutes.
The total duration of the experience will be about 6 hours, including briefing, approach time and return.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable from the age of 15. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
No previous canyoning experience is necessary, but swimming skills and an athletic physique are required, given the demanding nature of the activity.
Other information
The activity takes place from May to October and is confirmed with a minimum of 4 participants.
No changing rooms or toilets are available at the meeting point. It is recommended to leave one's personal belongings in the cars at the start of the route.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport; there is free parking on site.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
