A ring canyon, slides between rocks and passages where the light struggles to enter: we welcome you to Val d'Arzino, in the most hidden heart of Friuli Venezia-Giulia!
Here the Rio Pielungo will give you a complete canyoning experience between dives, rope descents of up to 20 metres and spectacular gorges. Get ready for a half-day guided exploration between geology and pure adrenaline!
What we will do
The appointment is at 09:00 at the meeting point in Vito D'asio (PN), in Val d'Arzino. Awaiting us will be the guide, who will provide us with all the necessary equipment: wetsuit, helmet and harness. After dressing, a briefing of about 30 minutes will follow to introduce us to the world of canyoning in total safety.
Each in his or her own car, we will reach the entrance to the route: from there our journey into the gorges of the valley will begin. We will walk among limestone and dolomite grooves, learning the techniques of canyon progression between rope descents and dives (always optional), while the guide will tell us about the unique characteristics of this landscape elected a regional geological site.
The route is a loop of about 1 km, and will take us from the Rio di Pielungo to theArzino, where we will slide down a 30-metre-deep canyon to tackle the last 300 metres in a wild, fairy-tale environment, with the forest towering above us.
We will thus conclude the route at the starting point, after which we will again drive to the meeting point and change our clothes.
The walk through the canyon will take at least three hours, and the activity will last about half a day in total, including briefings, transfers, the route and breaks.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 12 and up; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
It is not necessary to know how to swim to participate in the activity, but good aquatic skills are required.
The activity is not suitable for people who are pregnant, have heart problems or have undergone recent surgery.
The activity is of an easy level and suitable for a first canyoning experience.

Attention! The duration of the activity may vary depending on the number and experience level of the participants.
The experience takes place from May to October and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport, but there is a transfer by car to the canyon entrance.
There are changing rooms with showers and toilets at the meeting point. Personal items can be stored in the waterproof bag provided.
Before the activity, we ask you to send the guide the following data for equipment preparation: height, weight and foot number of each participant.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
