Enjoy sliding down slides, diving into the water and abseiling down rocky slopes with Canyoning at Rio Ronch in the Reschen Valley.
Together with an experienced guide, you will venture on an easy route that is also suitable for those trying canyoning for the first time. You will experience the thrill of rope abseiling, descents down natural slides and dives into crystal-clear waters.

What we will do
The appointment is at the Resartico Mine Exhibition in Resiutta, in the province of Udine. We will be welcomed by the guide and together with her we will have an exhaustive briefing on the activity. Afterwards, we will be given ourequipment (wetsuit, footwear and helmet) and we will be ready to set off on our adventure.
We will walk for about 45 minutes and then descend along steep tracks to the Rio Ronch stream bed. We will then make our first rope abseil from a height of 25 metres to the beginning of the canyon, in the most horizontal area.
With small dips, walks, some swimming and tobogganing, we will tackle the last part of the route characterised by three jumps of 5, 7 and 8 metres (optional). The most fun part of this activity will undoubtedly be the part where we will ride the natural slides, the so-called toboggans.
Finally, we will take a pleasant walk of about 10 minutes to the exit of the gorge and our cars. The activity lasts a total of 5 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is easy and suitable for everyone over the age of 12 . No previous experience is required, just being able to swim and not suffering from vertigo.

Canyoning is available from May to October, subject to weather conditions.
The activity will be confirmed on reaching a minimum of 4 participants.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
