Full description
Discover one of the best canyoning routes in Sardinia and follow the course of the Coxinas torrent in the stretch where it gives rise to the famous Sa Spendula waterfall.
An expert guide will take you to explore a wild and evocative environment in the small town of Villacidro, in southern Sardinia, among waterfalls and rocky gorges.
Armed with a wetsuit, helmet, rope and karabiners, you will plunge into the most hidden meanders of the torrent, where you will be able to admire the fascination of the surrounding nature .
What we will do
We will meet at 9:30 a.m . in Villacidro (SU). The guide will provide us with thenecessary equipment and give us a briefing on the rules of behaviour and safety. Then, in about 15 minutes' walk, we will reach the start of the canyoning route on the Coxinas torrent.
The stream has its source at an altitude of about 700 metres, descends through a long, narrow gorge and plunges down into the valley with three jumps, the last one of about 30 metres, forming the Sa Spendula waterfall.
Together with the guide, we will walk along the rocky canyon carved by the incessant flow of water, dive into the pools by jumping from several metres in height, and abseil through the walls of the waterfall, discovering a natural environment of great beauty, even celebrated by Gabriele D'Annunzio in one of his poems.
In total, the activity will last about four hours.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is of medium-easy level and is open to anyone in good physical condition. No previous experience is required. Participation is possible from 12 years of age.

This activity can be carried out from October to May, and is confirmed when there are at least 2 participants, weather permitting.
