Full description
Embark on anexciting adventure in close contact with nature and go canyoning in front of Tuerredda beach, the most beautiful in South Sardinia.
The route known as Saltu de Tuerredda will take you through the granite gorges of a stream that rises from Monte Pranedda and descends to Capo Spartivento.
Together with an expert guide, you will abseil with a rope from the rocky walls and dive into the pools of water to reach the heart of this unspoilt and evocative environment.
What we will do
We will meet on the beach of Tuerredda in Teulada (SU). The guide will hand over theequipment and after an introductory briefing we will set off on an ancient path that runs alongside the ruins of a furriadroxiu, an ancient settlement typical of Sulcis.
In about 20 minutes on foot we will reach the top of the mountain and from here we will begin our descent into the stream bed. The first 30-metre abseil will take us into the heart of the granite canyon where the water has modelled the hard rock, contributing to the formation of the beautiful beach below.
Accompanying us along the way will be a splendid panorama stretching from Capo Spartivento to Capo Teulada. If the water conditions permit, we will be able to bathe in the crystal-clear waters of the stream, otherwise we will refresh ourselves with a swim in the sea at the end of the route.
The activity will last a total of about three and a half hours.

This activity is at an easy level and is open to anyone in good physical condition, aged 10 and above.
Other information
This activity can be carried out all year round, weather permitting, and is confirmed when there are at least two participants.
In the summer months, the stream may be dry, but the route can still be done as dry canyoning.
