Canyoning is a bit like entering a water park designed by nature, only with more rocks and far fewer queues!
In the Chiandiola torrent you will descend between natural slides, toboggans, pools of water and rope descents together with an expert guide.
A 3-hour experience in the province of Pordenone, perfect for all adventure lovers!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Cellino di Sotto (PN) . Awaiting us will be the guide, who will provide us with all the necessary equipment (wetsuit, helmet, footwear and harness) .
After an initial briefing on basic techniques and safety rules, we will move on to the Chiandiola stream, which can be reached from the meeting point by car or by the organisers' vehicles (approximately 10 minutes) .
Once we have our equipment on, we will enter the canyon, which has the peculiarity of starting and ending directly in the heart of the municipality of Claut. From the very first metres, we will encounter natural slides, small waterfalls and pools of water that will make the route dynamic and fun.
During the descent, we will face 7 rope descents, including one of 18 metres. The highest abseil can be avoided, so that even less experienced participants can enjoy the experience more comfortably.
The guide will accompany us step by step, teaching us the basic techniques of canyoning in a safe environment that is also suitable for a first experience. Between water passages, descents and natural slides, we will cross one of the most peculiar corners of Valcellina.
Once out of the canyon we will return to the meeting point with our vehicles.
The activity will last a total of 3 hours, 2 of which will be spent in the water.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 5 and up; children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
To participate in the activity, it is necessary to be familiar with the water and to be in good physical shape. The activity is not suitable for pregnant women, those suffering from claustrophobia or severe vertigo. The maximum weight allowed is 120 kg.
The activity is of an easy level and is also suitable for a first canyoning experience.
Other information
The experience takes place from April to October and is confirmed with a minimum of 3 participants.
On site, there are changing rooms with showers and a storage room for valuables. Any personal items essential during the activity can be stored in the guide's waterproof bag.
Any accompanying persons with leashed dogs can wait at the canyoning base.
Photos and videos of the experience will be taken by the guide and sent free of charge to participants at the end of the activity.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
