Full description
Rediscover contact with nature and explore a wild and evocative territory by travelling through the canyon carved by the Chalamy torrent in Valle d'Aosta.
You will let yourself go on the natural slides carved out of the rock by the torrent and then you can try all the activities included in a canyoning route such as abseiling and jumping into pools of crystal-clear water.
If you have never tried canyoning before, this adventure is perfect to experience the excitement and adrenaline of plunging into a completely natural water park.
Thanks to Canyoning you will discover an evocative nature made of rock and water: natural slides, waterfalls, rock jumps, deep gorges set in the dense vegetation of the Aosta Valley. A small adventure that you will experience in a group followed by an expert canyoning guide, a professional able to make you appreciate this fantastic sport in complete safety!
What we will do
We will meet the guides and the rest of the group in Verrès. After introductions we will head together to the entrance of the canyon: it will take about 15 minutes by car and another 15 minutes on foot.
When we reach the entry point, we will be given our neoprene wetsuit, harness and helmet and then have a briefing on progression techniques and safety rules. We will enter the route and discover an evocative nature of rock and water where we will be able to breathe in the fresh, clean air and the scent of the vegetation growing on the banks of the stream.
We will have fun letting ourselves go on toboggans, natural slides up to 10 metres long carved by the stream into the rock. We will gain courage to dive into the wonderful pools of crystal-clear water from amaximum height of 8 metres and rope down 23 metres from the top of the falls. We will always have the possibility to circumvent obstacles and complete the route by easier alternative routes.
The adventure will end at the point where we left the cars at the beginning. It will take about 3 hours to complete the route, for a total duration of the experience of 4 hours including briefing.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is simple and suitable for anyone over the age of 10. Swimming skills are required, but it is an ideal activity for families and for those who want to try canyoning for the first time.

No showers or changing rooms are available at the centre.
