Full description
Come and explore the Cinque Laghi Park with us on a two-hour carriage ride, travelling as our ancestors did.
We will start from our farm in Borgofranco d'Ivrea, where we have been taking care of our horses for 40 years, accompanying us and our guests to discover the park that extends into the heart of Canavese.
Our ride will be accompanied by the view of the Serra morenica d'Ivrea dominating the horizon.
What we will do
We will meet you at the time agreed at the time of booking at our farm in Borgofranco d'Ivrea, where we will welcome you and, if you manage to organise your schedule, our horses will be introduced to you directly by their owner: our lively nephew! After due introductions we will be ready to set off on our carriage ride.
A few minutes after leaving the farm we will find ourselves in the open countryside. We will be able to enjoy the peace and tranquillity that will take us along the loop trail that passes through all five lakes in the park.
We will ride on the shores of Lake Sirio, the largest in the park, Lake San Michele, the smallest, and Lake Nero with its dark waters reflecting the surrounding landscape. We will also reach Lake Pistono and Lake Campagna with views of Montalto Dora Castle and San Giuseppe Castle respectively.
We will admire many species of birds above us, whose song will accompany our tour.
After about two hours we will return to the farm, where we will thank the horse that accompanied us on our relaxing ride and we will say goodbye until our next adventure together.

The experience is suitable for everyone with no age limit. Children from 0 to 4 years old participate free of charge as long as they are in their parent's arms.
Other information
The carriage ride takes place from Tuesday to Sunday, except in August, and is confirmed when there are at least four participants.
There is a bar at the farm.
The meeting point is difficult to reach by public transport: contact the organiser to arrange a pick-up. At the farm, however, there is ample parking availability.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
