Full description
Enjoy a peaceful and romantic carriage ride: a special opportunity to go back in time and discover the natural beauty of the Pesio Valley in the province of Cuneo.
One or two splendid horses will take you on a ride along the suggestive paths around Chiusa di Pesio and, accompanied by the sound of hooves, you will be able to admire a splendid panorama.
On the return journey, a typical farmhouse lunch based on genuine zero-kilometre products awaits you. An unmissable experience for young and old who love being in contact with animals and nature.
What we will do
We will meet at the Gambarello locality in Chiusa di Pesio (CN). The guides will welcome you and introduce you to Diana, the beautiful black Friesian who will accompany you on the carriage ride.
The tour will last about an hour and will touch the most evocative corners of this area of the Pesio Valley. You will admire the lush nature of the forests and the peaks of the Maritime Alps that frame the panorama. Diana and the coachman will accompany you as far as the centre of Chiusa di Pesio before returning to thefarm.
On your return, you can sit down at the table to enjoy a delicious lunch consisting of two starters, a first course, a main course and dessert, all made with local, seasonal and zero-kilometre products. A delight for the palate!
The carriage ride lasts about 1 hour and ends with the return to the farmhouse. Lunch at the farm (available from Friday to Sunday) is optional and costs €23, payable locally.

The activity takes place from April to October, weather permitting.
The tour is private. Apart from the coachman, there will only be you and the people you wish to take with you in the carriage. On request, a different time can be arranged.
Each carriage can carry a maximum of 5 passengers.
The farm is open for lunch from Friday to Sunday. If you decide to stay for lunch, call the guide as soon as possible to reserve a table (you will receive his contact details after booking).
