Do you know the feeling of freedom of sailing towards the horizon without asking anyone's permission?
In Torre Vado you can stop watching the sea from the shore and become its protagonist aboard a boat with a 40 HP engine, perfect for accommodating up to 6 people and ploughing the waves of Salento in total autonomy.
You don't need a licence, just a great desire to explore!
What we will do
The appointment is 20 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Torre Vado (LE) . Upon your arrival, the staff will hand over the boat and give you a detailed demonstration briefing, explaining everything you need to know about its handling and the rules for safe navigation. You will also be given guidance on the best routes to follow.
You will take command of a 5. 90 metre boat equipped with a 40 HP engine, which you can drive without a licence. The boat is equipped with every comfort for sailing: a sun canopy to shelter you during the hottest hours, an ascending ladder for your bathing and a comfortable sun cushion to relax between stops.
Once you leave the harbour, you will sail in complete autonomy , choosing the stops you prefer. You can go as far as Punta Ristola and Punta Meliso, admire the impressive eastern and western caves of Leuca or stop for a snorkel in the transparent waters of Felloniche Beach. You will be able to take food and drink on board for a toast in the middle of the sea.
You will then return to the meeting point by the time agreed with the skipper. When booking, you can choose between a full-day or half-day charter (minimum 4½ hours) .
Who it is aimed at
The boat can accommodate up to a maximum of six people. It is a perfect experience for small groups of friends or families who want privacy and independence.
A licence is not required to drive the boat, but you must be of legal age. There is no age limit for passengers.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible and for people with reduced mobility.

Rental is available from June to October.
Please note! For the half-day morning shift, the return time is scheduled for 13: 30. The return time for the full-day or afternoon shift is expected by sunset and varies depending on the season.
Important: fuel is not included in the fee and will be paid on return according to actual consumption (estimated cost approx. 60€) .
Dogs are allowed on board.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport; there is a free car park right in front of the ticket office.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is last minute. You get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
