Above the bench, the goat… is thriving, of course! And how well it thrives, amongst the green meadows of Valtellina.
Come to Postalesio (SO) to discover a farm that has made goat’s milk its flagship product. Accompanied by a guide, you’ll get to know these friendly animals up close, discover the organic production methods used to make cheeses and cured meats, and round off the experience with a delicious tasting of local specialities!
What we will do
The tour starts at the selected time at the Sopralapanca Farm in Postalesio (SO), in the heart of Valtellina. We’ll be welcomed by the guide who will accompany us throughout the experience.
We’ll start with a walk around the farm, getting to know the goats up close. We’ll then continue with a visit to the milking parlour and the cheese-making workshop . During the tour, the guide will explain the characteristics of the goats reared here (Frisa and Camosciata delle Alpi breeds) and how the raw-milk cheeses are made using organic methods.
Once the tour – lasting around 30–45 minutes – is over, we’ll sit down for the most delicious part of the experience. We’ll take part in a tasting consisting of a platter of goat or pork cold cuts ( depending on the season) and a selection of raw-milk cheeses, including fresh goat’s cheese, matured goat’s cheese and ricotta. At the end, you’ll also have the opportunity to purchase the farm’s produce.
The experience will last approximately one and a half hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone, with no age restrictions. Children who do not take part in the tasting can attend free of charge.
Other information
The experience takes place from April to October. In the event of bad weather, the activity will take place entirely indoors.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
