Learn the art (of making cheese) and put it aside. Then sit down at the table and enjoy the fruits of your labour!
During this cheesemaker's workshop in Villasimius, you can 'put your hands in the dough' and make your own cheese following the precious advice of a Sardinian shepherd.
After the demonstration, a tasting session including ricotta, pecorino and other typical products awaits you, to be enjoyed outdoors amidst the scents of the Mediterranean maquis!
What we will do
The appointment is at 10 a. m. at the Colline del Vento farm in Villasimius (CA), in the setting of the Sardinian countryside. To welcome us, we will find the owners ready to reveal all the secrets of the Sardinian pastoral tradition.
Immersed in the total tranquillity of the surrounding vineyards, we will witness the preparation of fresh cheese, which will be made on the spot and before our eyes to show us the beauty of this ancient craft.
During the demonstration, the shepherd will show us how to break the curd and guide us step by step. It will be the perfect moment to literally put our hands in the dough and try our hand at creating our own cheese.
After completing the workshop, we will all share a genuine breakfast together outdoors. We will sit down to enjoy the fruits of our labour and many other local specialities such as fresh ricotta, pecorino, organic honey produced by the farm's bees, coffee and other typical delicacies.
Before saying goodbye, we can take home a piece of the cheese we will have made as a souvenir.
The experience will last about three hours in total .

The experience is suitable for everyone without age limits. Minors may participate in the experience at a reduced cost.

The experience is available all year round and is confirmed when there are at least 6 participants.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
