A sandstone cliff overlooking the sea: this is your next challenge!
Approach the exciting world of climbing with a day of cliff climbing at Punta Baffe, on the Sestri Levante coast.
Whatever your startinglevel, learn progression techniques or improve your skills with the presence and advice of a mountain guide. Come on, see you at the top!
What we will do
The meeting point is at 8 a.m. in Riva Trigoso, a hamlet of Sestri Levante (GE).
Here you will meet the mountain guide and begin theapproach to the crag on foot, with a leisurely walk of about 45 minutes.
The location chosen for this day of climbing will appear truly spectacular: Punta Baffe is in fact a high sandstone cliff overlooking the Ligurian sea and topped by an ancient watchtower.
Once you reach the wall, your guide will hold an introductory briefing to explain basic progression techniques and safety rules. You will harness up and gradually begin your climb, with 9 climbing points of increasing difficulty set up on the wall, up to a maximum of 12 metres. Generally, a beginner climber can climb up to 4-5 metres.
As this is anexclusive experience for small groups (1-5 people), the guide will be with you every step of the way and will help you with your progression. If you are already experienced, he will give you his advice on how to progress in technique.
The activity will last a total of 5 hours, including approximately 4 hours of climbing.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for participants of all levels, from 12 years of age. Any minors must be accompanied by an adult who participates or witnesses the activity.
Good health and a physique predisposed to athletic effort are required.
Other information
The activity can take place from February to November and is intended for private groups of up to 5 people.
