Spend a day in the company of a mountain guide and learn the basics of climbing: you can climb one of the walls of the Pietra di Bismantova, in Castelnovo ne' Monti!
Get ready to put yourself to the test with a new adventure!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Castelnovo ne' Monti (RE), where we will be met by the mountain guide who will accompany us on this first vertical adventure. We will begin with a cognitive briefing to define objectives and expectations, so as to set up the activity in the way that best suits our needs.
Immediately afterwards, we will be given the equipment (helmet, harness and, if required, shoes - included) and we will learn the correct use of safety equipment and the rules of behaviour to be observed during the activity. Once ready, we will make a short transfer on foot, lasting between 1 and 15 minutes, depending on the wall of the Pietra di Bismantova chosen for the climb.
We will start climbing, becoming familiar with the crag and following our instructor's advice. We will reach a height of 20 or 30 metres, depending on our abilities, and discover how to move with agility on the rock.
In the afternoon, after a packed lunch (not included) we will continue to test ourselves and consolidate the skills we have acquired, aiming higher and higher!
The experience will last a total of 8 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from the age of 10. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. From the age of 14, it is also possible to participate by presenting a release form signed by a parent.
To participate, you must be in good health and be in good physical shape.
The activity is of an easy level and suitable for a first approach to climbing.
Other information
The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed when a minimum number of 3 participants is reached.
Dogs are not allowed.
There are free and paid parking spaces on site, depending on the season. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
