Full description
Set off for an incredible day of sport and nature in the beautiful setting of the Amalfi Coast. You will practiceclimbing on a rock face overhanging the sea. Forbidden to suffer from vertigo!
The private lesson is held by a certified UIAGM Alpine Guide, the only figure qualified to teach professionalclimbing in the natural environment, and is dedicated to those who want to discover this fantastic discipline or to those who want to improve their technique.
You will be welcome even if you are a first-time climber. This activity will catapult you into the fascinating world of climbers and let you admire amazing views from privileged vantage points that only the bravest have access to!
What we will do
We will meet at 9:00 a.m. in Vietri sul Mare (SA), a beautiful town at the gateway to the Amalfi Coast. We will meet the mountain guide and with a short trekking route we will approach the rock face that will host our climbing lesson.
Once at the site, we will begin with the theoretical part. The guide will explain to us in detail how the equipment and knots work, which are essential for any climbing trip to be carried out safely. He will instruct us on the principles and motor patterns of climbing, so that we can tackle the climb with awareness and efficiency right from the start.
We will then move on to the practical part by performing balance and mutual control exercises, rope tests and belaying with approved equipment. Finally, when we feel ready, we will start climbing the rock face following different climbing routes, chosen by the guide according to the participants' level of experience.
The lesson will end around 15:00. In total, we will spend 6 hours together, during which we will stop for something to eat and for any other needs.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an intermediate level. It is not necessary to have previous experience but it is necessary to have good general physical fitness.

Attention! Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time of the activity.
The activity is bookable from October to May and is intended for private groups of up to 6 participants. In the event of adverse weather conditions, the activity may be changed or suspended (you will be notified by your guide).

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
