Full description
Aiming high is always a good idea. And in this case it is the best idea you can come up with!
Take part in our climbing experience in the province of Belluno: in the company of an alpine guide and a climbing instructor, you will climb the Schievenin crag composed of characteristic dolomite rock. You will test yourself on a vertical wall measuring 8 to 15 metres in height, learning to climb with your climbing partner.
A 3-hour experience that will get you hooked on this sport!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Schievenin, a hamlet of the municipality of Setteville (BL). Awaiting us will be the mountain guide and the climbing instructor who will accompany us on this vertical adventure!
Having gathered all the participants, we will set off to reach the location of the experience, which is about 15 minutes away. We will arrive at the foot of the Schievenin cliff, a scenic vertical wall of dolomite rock. This will be followed by the handover of equipment, dressing and a short briefing during which the guides will provide all the useful information for a carefree experience.
And then we will be ready to climb! The experience takes place in a roped party, i.e. in small groups of three people who will alternate between climbing and belaying; this means that while one person climbs, another person will be instructed to ensure safety on the ground. Each participant will climb about 4 times in top-rope mode, ascending and descending the vertical wall measuring 8 to 15 metres in height; the rest of the time they will play the role of safety or observer. The mountain guide and climbing instructor will be present at all times, ready to give directions and advice.
The experience will last a total of 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from the age of 18.
The experience is suitable as a first climb. The experience is customisable according to the participant's level, from beginner to intermediate.
The experience is not allowed for pregnant women, persons with disabilities, persons with mobility problems, persons with cardiac and/or psychiatric illnesses.

The experience takes place from March to June and from September to November on the dates indicated in the calendar and is confirmed on reaching a minimum number of 10 participants.

There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport. A transfer service to/from Treviso is available at a cost of €10.00 per person (for a maximum of 7 people): contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email for more information and to request the service.
