Full description

There will be times in life when you will feel that you 'got a crab'. On others, the crab will be you!

If you still haven't understood what we're talking about, it's time you discovered coasteering, the last frontier of canyoning to be carried out in a different scenario: overlooking the sea. And what a sea: this time you'll have to run along the coastal stretch that connects the Bay of Paraggi to Portofino, trying to stick to the cliff just like a little crab would do.

Atwo and a half hour experience, perfect for awakening the child in you!

What we will do

The appointment is 30 minutes before 10 a.m. at the meeting point in Portofino (GE), where our guide will welcome us.

Before starting the coasteering activity, we will have a preparation briefing in which we will be explained the rules to follow in order to carry out the activity safely and with full respect for the environment.

We will then put on a wetsuit, helmet and life jacket and be ready to go! The route will take place on the coastal stretch connecting Niasca beach in the Bay of Paraggi to Baia del Cannone in Portofino. We will be in constant contact with the water and the rocks and we will climb up the rocks to dive from above in the places where the sea is clearest.

We will explore the intertidal zone, that area of the shoreline that only emerges at low tide, bringing to light caves, hollows and signs of marine life that are not always visible. It will be a playful and educational experience at the same time, making us see nature from an unusual perspective.

At the end of the walk, we will return on foot to the starting point along the panoramic path connecting Portofino and Paraggi.

The activity will last about 2 ½ hours in total.
