Full description
There will be times in life when you will feel that you 'got a crab'. On others, the crab will be you!
If you still haven't understood what we're talking about, it's time you discovered coasteering, the last frontier of canyoning to be carried out in a different scenario: overlooking the sea. And what a sea: this time you'll have to run along the coastal stretch that connects the Bay of Paraggi to Portofino, trying to stick to the cliff just like a little crab would do.
Atwo and a half hour experience, perfect for awakening the child in you!
What we will do
We’ll meet 30 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Portofino (GE), where our guide will welcome us.
Before we start the coasteering activity, we’ll have a preparatory briefing where we’ll be shown the rules to follow to ensure we carry out the activity safely and with full respect for the environment.
After that, we’ll put on our wetsuits, helmets and life jackets, and we’ll be ready to go! The route will follow the stretch of coastline linking Niasca beach in Paraggi Bay to Baia del Cannone in Portofino. We’ll be constantly in contact with the water and the rocks, and we’ll climb over the rocks to dive from above into the spots where the sea is clearest.
We’ll explore the intertidal zone – that part of the coastline which is only exposed at low tide – uncovering caves, crevices and signs of marine life that aren’t always visible. It’ll be an experience that’s both fun and educational , allowing us to see nature from an unusual perspective.
Once the walk is over, we’ll walk back to the starting point along the scenic path linking Portofino to Paraggi.
The activity will last approximately two and a half hours in total .
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from 14 to 65 years of age; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult during the activity.
To participate, it is necessary to be able to swim and be in good physical condition.
The activity is at an intermediate level.

The activity takes place all year round, weather permitting, and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 2 participants.
Attention! It is not possible to do the activity with prescription glasses, so the use of contact lenses is recommended.
There is limited parking on site, so it is recommended that you reach the meeting point by public transport or on foot/by bicycle.
On site there are changing rooms, showers and lockers to leave your personal belongings in.
Any accompanying persons can wait on the beach adjacent to the meeting point.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
