Even canyoning goes on holiday... and at the seaside it turns into coasteering!
Discover this fun and adrenalin-pumping water sport very similar to canyoning: at Cala Dragunara a coastal route awaits you in the Porto Conte Natural Park, with rope descents, dives from the rocks and sea caves to explore.
Get ready to spend 3 hours in the company of an expert guide: it will be the most exciting adventure of your holiday in Sardinia!
What we will do
We will meet at 9.15am at Cala Dragunara (SS), the starting point of our adventure. Here we will meet the guide who will provide us with all the necessaryequipment, which we will put on immediately before setting off.
After an initial briefing, we will enter the water and begin the route by swimming along the coast of the Porto Conte Natural Park. After a few minutes we will stop on a metre-high rock, where we will practise our diving techniques. No pressure: the dives are not compulsory and those who wish can learn gradually.
We will continue alternating between swimming stretches and fun obstacles to overcome: we will face rope descents from 12 to 15 metres high and (optional) dives from 1 to 6 metres!
Along the way we will also explore fascinating sea caves, some accessible on foot and others only by swimming. Here the guide will tell us about the geological history of the area and the karst processes that have shaped these natural wonders over the millennia.
After walking about 500 metres of coastal strip and spending 2 hours in the water, we will conclude the experience with a short 15-minute return walk.
The activity will last a total of 3 hours, including transfers and briefing.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for ages 12 and up. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Good water skills and no fear of heights are required.
The maximum weight for participation is 110 kg. Please communicate your weight and height to the guide after confirming your booking.
Other information
The activity is bookable from June to August, Monday to Saturday, and is confirmed with a minimum number of 4 participants.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport. There is free parking and a bar on site, but no showers or storage space for personal belongings.
