Stay in a cottage and horseback ride in the Sorbo Valley

Here you are, you are crossing the threshold of a cosy cottage in Campagnano di Roma, where the scent of wood will envelop you from the first moment. The perfect escape for a one-night stay for couples!

After a hearty Italian breakfast, an exciting horseback ride awaits you in the Sorbo Valley, a small paradise to be discovered at leisure!

What we will do

Check-in is from 3. 30 pm to 9. 30 pm at the property in Campagnano di Roma (RM). On arrival, you will be welcomed by the staff and shown to your accommodation.

You will be staying in a double cottage of approximately 18 square metres, designed to offer privacy and comfort. Each cottage has its own private entrance, air conditioning and a heat pump to ensure the ideal temperature all year round.

Inside your cottage, you’ll find a comfortable double bed, a desk and a private bathroom complete with a toilet, washbasin, shower and bidet. By design, the rooms do not have a TV, encouraging you to connect with nature, whilst still offering free Wi-Fi for all your needs. In the morning, an Italian buffet breakfast awaits you, featuring items such as yoghurt, cereals, croissants, juices and a selection of coffee drinks.

After breakfast, you can take part in the most exciting part of your stay: a horse ride with a local guide. The activity will last around an hour and a half and will include a short practice session in the field to familiarise yourself with Western-style riding and your American Quarter Horses.

You will then mount up for a ride of around 6 km through the Sorbo Valley, a 7, 000-hectare green area home to wildlife. You’ll ride for about 50 minutes through woods and meadows, crossing the fords of the River Cremera. If this is your first time or you prefer a more leisurely approach, you can opt for an arena lesson in consultation with the guide.

Who it is aimed at

The experience is suitable for 2 persons over 18 years of age.

The facility is not easily accessible by wheelchair.

A maximum weight of 110 kg is required for the horse ride.

The activity is also suitable as a first horse ride and can be customised according to the level of the participants.

The experience is available all year round.

The horse ride may be shared with other participants, with a maximum of 4 people.

If you arrive after 9. 30 pm, there is a surcharge for the night-time reception service (€30 until midnight, €50 after midnight, to be paid on site) .

Dogs are permitted for an additional charge of €10 per night for final cleaning, payable on site. During horse riding activities, they may wait in their room or in designated areas at the riding school.

The property is not easily accessible by public transport. A transfer service is available on request from Cesano di Roma station at a cost of €10 per person, or from the nearest bus stop at a cost of €5 per person. Free on-street parking is available on site.
