There are those who book any farmhouse. And then there's you, who choose to spend the night beside a heart-shaped lake!
On Lake Scanno in Abruzzo, a one-night stay for two in an agritourism farmhouse awaits you, with a typical Abruzzo dinner and homemade breakfast .
And to complete the magic? A one-and-a-half-hour horseback ride, with the lake as a backdrop!
What we will do
Check-in is from 4 p. m. at the agriturismo in Villalago (AQ) , overlooking Lake Scanno, famous for its unusual shape that resembles a heart from above.
You will stay in a double room with an independent entrance, equipped with a private bathroom with shower and complete sanitary facilities, linen, courtesy kit, hairdryer, TV and heating. The terrace will give you a taste of the peace of the Abruzzo mountains. Wi-Fi is available in the hotel's common areas.
In the evening, a typical Abruzzi dinner consisting of a first course, main course, side dish and dessert, including water and wine, awaits you, with a choice of several options available. After a night immersed in the silence of nature, waking up will taste like a sweet home-made breakfast, with cakes, biscuits, and the aroma of coffee coming from the room.
The horseback ride included in the package can be scheduled on the day of check-in or check-out, agreeing on the time after booking. You will be welcomed by an equestrian guide who will accompany you on an initial briefing and then on a one-and-a-half-hour horseback ride on Lake Scanno, along scenic paths framed by the lake and the Marsicani Mountains.

Who it is aimed at
The experience is intended for 2 persons over 18 years of age.
The route on horseback has some narrower and overhanging sections, so it may not be suitable for those suffering from vertigo. No previous experience is required to participate.
The maximum weight for participants is 120 kg.
Other information
The experience is available from April to October. Check-in is from 16: 00 and check-out by 10: 30.

The horseback ride may be shared with other participants. The mount used is the American mount .
If you have food allergies and/or intolerances, please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email. No coeliac options are available for breakfast.
Small-medium sized shorthaired dogs are allowed in the rooms for an extra charge of €5 per day (to be notified in advance) .
The tourist tax of 2€ per person per night, payable locally in cash, is not included in the fee.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport (bus stop about 800 metres away) ; free parking is available on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
The experiences included in the stay plus experience packages are subject to weather conditions. If the experience cannot take place due to bad weather or other causes of force majeure, you can choose between a refund for the experience that did not take place or rescheduling the activity for another date (if available). However, the stay cannot be refunded or rescheduled if the terms of the package cancellation policy have already expired.
Can I change the date selected for my stay?
