Do you have an infallible nose for dream weekends? Well, you've found it!
In the heart of the Crete Senesi, not far from Asciano, a one-night stay in an agriturismo awaits you, where the tranquillity of the Tuscan countryside is combined with the excitement of an adventure in the woods.
To bid you good morning a buffet breakfast, while to make your experience special will be a real truffle hunt with truffle hunter and Lagotto Romagnolo!
What we will do
Check-in is from 3: 00 p. m. to 5: 00 p. m. at the farmhouse in Armaiolo (SI), in the setting of the Crete Senesi. On arrival, you will be welcomed by the staff of the property, who will give you the keys to your room.
You will stay in a comfortable double room with en-suite bathroom, equipped with shower, toilet, washbasin, bidet, courtesy kit, hairdryer, linen, TV and hot/cold air conditioning.
A communal lounge with a small kitchen and kettle is also available and the hotel offers free Wi-Fi. You will also have access to the farmhouse swimming pool, which is open from May to September. In the morning, a breakfast buffet with sweet and savoury items awaits you.
But the most exciting part of your stay will be the truffle hunt, which you can choose to do either on the day of your arrival or the following day, agreeing the time directly with your guide.
In the company of a truffle hunter and his Lagotto Romagnolo, you will enter the woods in search of the precious mushroom, with different varieties depending on the time of year. You will discover many curiosities about the truffle, search techniques and you will also be able to help in the extraction with a rasp. The truffle found will be available for purchase at the end of the walk. The truffle hunt will last one and a half hours.

Other information
The experience is available all year round, with the exception of February, May, September and November; in January, it is only open until 7 January. Check-in is from 15: 00 to 17: 00, and check-out by 11: 00.
Truffle hunting is not exclusive: the experience may be shared with other participants.

If you have any food allergies and/or intolerances, please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to communicate them.
Dogs are allowed on the farm with a surcharge of €12, payable locally, but cannot participate in truffle hunting.
The tourist tax of 2€ per person, payable locally in cash, is excluded from the fee.
The property cannot be reached by public transport; there is free parking on site. To reach the farmhouse, it is necessary to drive along a stretch of dirt road. The property consists of three separate farmhouses: short drives may be required to get around the estate.

What happens in case of bad weather?
The experiences included in the stay plus experience packages are subject to weather conditions. If the experience cannot take place due to bad weather or other causes of force majeure, you can choose between a refund for the experience that did not take place or rescheduling the activity for another date (if available). However, the stay cannot be refunded or rescheduled if the terms of the package cancellation policy have already expired.
Can I change the date selected for my stay?
