Wonderful Life List Experience!

We loved every minute of the amazing Truffle Hunting with Domenico and Tita the dog!!! This is truly a memorable life list experience, you cannot miss!!! The surroundings were beautiful and TIta was fascinating to watch sniff out the Truffles. Domenico was a great host, very friendly, informative and really made the experience something we will never forget. Thank you very much, hope to do this again sometime. We would highly recommend to everyone regardless of age! You won't regret it!

Unforgettable experience!

Beautiful experience. The guys were very nice, they provided us with boots, and then they explained their activity to us as we walked through their portion of the forest, where after a short while their dog managed to find a splendid truffle weighing at least a few ounces near the stream. Contrary to other similar activities, the truffles had not been buried before for us to find, so the hunt was really exciting. For those interested, there is also the possibility of having lunch at their farmstead, consuming the 'harvest'. Fascinating experience, recommended!

Highly recommended experience!

Wonderful experience, highly recommended! Fun, interesting... and tasty! We were greeted with the utmost friendliness and helpfulness, we ate very well in front of a splendid panorama, and our daughters were delighted to be able to play with the adorable truffle dog puppies. The truffle hunt was exciting and informative, as well as very fruitful. I highly recommend the experience!

Great adventure!...

Great adventure! We had beautiful cool weather and drove to the truffle preserve close to the winery tasting room. We followed the dogs as they raced through the woods sniffing for truffles. The dogs were so excited when they found a truffle and were rewarded with snacks. The dogs found plenty of truffles for our lunch. They seemed to throughly enjoy the hunt as much as we did. Returning to the winery, Lizette gave us a very thorough tour of the winery and their biological approach to wine making and the nuances of their particular processes. We went back to the tasting room, a beautiful spot with great views and seating inside and out. Lunch was excellent and included our truffles. Wines included a white, rosé, an orange (new to us), a red and because one of our group had a birthday, a special family bubbly. All went well with the food including our truffle discoveries.
