I really enjoyed this experience, and most of all Pepe – the lead truffle hunter. It was a shame that the truffle season was coming to an end, so we only found a few small, dried truffles.nI hope we’ll be luckier next time.

The highlight of our trip

Oh my goodness, it was absolutely the highlight of our 17 days in Italy. We had such fun hunting for truffles with Paolo and Lola n and the lunch was delicious. But it was so much more than that; chatting to Niccolò and Luca (the winery family) and meeting Nunzia and Bo-Bo, their lovely dog, was almost life-changing. I can’t really put into words just how much we loved it.
