Full description
An experience on four wheels. Or not. We're talking about our drifting course!
A driver-instructor awaits you in Mozzecane, in the province of Verona, to pass on all his driving skills and passion: you will learn when the car loses grip and how to drive it sideways. All in a series of 6 turns lasting between 10 and 12 minutes, each of which includes a theoretical part and a practical part.
Get ready to hold the steering wheel and hurtle towards your certificate!
What we will do
I will be waiting for you at the time indicated at the time of booking in Mozzecane (VR). To welcome you there will be me, a drifting instructor qualified at the UISP-CONI national school, in the company of my staff.
After an initial welcome, a briefing will take place during which I will introduce you to instructors and cars. After about 30 minutes you will already be on board the BMW vehicle to enjoy this experience on (less than) four wheels: each participant is given six shifts, each lasting between 10 and 12 minutes.
Each drifting round consists of: explanation of the exercise, demonstration of the exercise by the instructor, rehearsal of the exercise by the participant for the duration of the round. Among the exercises you will try are: curve attack (first part of the curve in drift), curve closure, the"zero" (turning around a reference) and the"eight" (turning right and left with the car sideways). When one exercise is mastered, you will move on to the next; and if you manage to complete them all before the end of the experience, you will be introduced to intermediate exercises!
There are 4 shifts in the morning and 2 shifts in the afternoon. In between there is a lunch break of about 2 hours, roughly from 12:15 to 14:00; you can enjoy a packed lunch at the trackside or go to a nearby affiliated restaurant.
At the end of the course you will have learnt how to put the car sideways correctly and how to recognise when the aircraft is losing grip; two lessons that could always come in handy and save a number of situations on the road! You will then receive a certificate of participation as a memento of this day.
The experience will last a total of 4 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 14 and up; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Aminimum height of 150 cm is required to participate.
The ability to drive a car with a manual gearbox is required to participate; a driving licence is not required.
Other information
The experience is available from January to December on the dates indicated in the calendar (continuously updated). On Saturdays there is only an afternoon shift from 1.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. (driving time will still be the same).
It is possible to spend the lunch break at an affiliated restaurant offering a menu at €15.00 per person.
Accompanying persons can attend the experience free of charge.
