How would you cope if you had to survive in the wild, relying only on your own strength (and a pinch of ingenuity)?
We are waiting for you for a survival course in Arona, in the woods around Lake Maggiore, where you will discover and learn how to put primitive survival techniques into practice.
After 6 hours of activity you will know how to light a fire armed only with a match, make a bow with rope and shoot your first arrow, but also build a real shelter with materials from the forest. You against nature: who will win?
What we will do
We will meet in Arona at the time indicated in the booking. Here we will find Cesare, our instructor of natural movement and primitive education in the woods, waiting for us. After the welcome, we will move by car to the place where the activity begins, in the woods about 5 km from Arona.
The first 30 minutes will be devoted to welcoming educational games: through playful and engaging activities we will learn the logic and behaviour of the natural world.
Then we will start with the fire-starting challenge, also lasting 30 minutes: we will learn how to collect and arrange materials for our hearth. Match in hand, we will have 3 opportunities to succeed in lighting.
The next two hours will be devoted to making a bow with string, using materials gathered in the forest. We will carve and weave the bow and then stretch the string and string the arrow.
At the end of this activity we will take a short break to enjoy a snack and recover our energy. Then we will begin the construction of our shelter, trying to turn it into the sweetest and cosiest of beds! This part will also last 2 hours and will be followed by about 30 minutes of concluding educational games.
The course will last a total of 6 hours.

Underage participants do not need to be accompanied.

The activity is available all year round from Wednesday to Sunday and is confirmed with a minimum of 4 adult participants.
It will be necessary to use one's own car to travel from the meeting point to the course location.
