Surviving in the urban jungle is not easy. But even the chestnut forests are no joke!
Join our survival course in Gello di Pescaglia: an instructor will teach you basic survival techniques including how to start a fire and build a shelter.
A day of nature, adventure and team spirit.
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before 10 a .m. at the meeting point in Gello, a hamlet in the municipality of Pescaglia (LU). We will be welcomed by thesurvival instructor who will guide us on this adventure!
The experience will take place in a forest of chestnut trees, reminiscent of a mountain environment despite its proximity to the city of Lucca. Among the things we will learn during the course will be some notions of orienteering, distress signals, building a shelter, lighting and maintaining a fire, and the basics of archery. A packed lunch will be the only "convenience" we will bring from home, independently.
The survival course will tickle our team spirit, allowing us to achieve goals together with our fellow adventurers. And if the latter are friends or relatives, it will strengthen our bond even more.
The experience will end at approximately 18:00 hours and will last a total of 8 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 13 and up; children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult or have a signed release form.
To participate in the activity, it is sufficient to be in good health and have no physical impediments. The natural setting in which the activity takes place does not involve a significant difference in altitude, only a slight ascent.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable for a first survival course.
Other information
Attention. The experience also takes place in the event of bad weather at the instructor's discretion.
The activity takes place on the dates indicated in the calendar and is confirmed once the minimum number of 5 participants has been reached.
The meeting point is usually a car park or a place where you can conveniently leave your car.
