Full description
The perfect tour for those seeking anadventure on two wheels in Tuscany. Pedal up and down the Chianti hills and through the town of Fiesole in the company of a local guide.
During the tour you will visit a family-run winery and discover all the secrets of wine and olive oil production .
Recharge your energy with a Tuscan lunch based on typical products in the guide's favourite traditional trattoria and get ready for a day of eco-friendly fun!
What we will do
We will meet the guide in Florence at 9:15 am. We will proceed to hand over the bikes, hold an introductory briefing and be ready to saddle up for our tour of the Chianti hills and Fiesole.
After passing through the historical centre of Florence, we will ride along the Arno River until we reach the foot of Monte Ceceri, at the top of which lies the beautiful town of Fiesole, surrounded by lush woods and ancient villas, which also offers one of the best views of Florence.
We will make a stop in the piazza and then continue in an easterly direction to reach the Chianti wine area. After a ride through the vineyards, we will stop at a local trattoria where we will enjoy a mouth-watering lunch!
The next stop will be aChianti winery. Here we will have a guided tour to discover the secrets of processing grapes to make wine, which we can taste and perhaps buy to take home as a nice souvenir of the day.
The route back to Florence will be mostly downhill, through woods, fields, farms and castles. By 4.30 p.m. we will be back at the base and the guide will greet us, giving us advice on the best places to enjoy an ice cream or an aperitif in Florence.
The total duration of the activity will be about 7 hours during which we will cover a distance of 35 km.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is of an intermediate level due to the many ascents and descents. However, no special skills are required, only a fair amount of physical endurance.
The minimum age for the activity is 5 years.

The activity can take place all year round and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants , weather permitting (for groups of more than 8 people, please contact us in private).
Children aged 5 to 8 years pay the reduced fee of €54.50. Please contact us privately for more information.
It is possible to hire an e-bike with pedal assistance at an extra cost of 35€ per person (payable locally).
Lunch includes bruschette for starters, a first course and local wine. A variation for vegans and coeliacs can be arranged in advance.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
